Annonce - nouvelles tours cellulaires / Announcement - new cell towers

Hier, le 15 octobre, à l'hôtel de ville, notre maire, Tom Arnold, le maire de Brownsburgh-Chatham, Kévin Maurice et la mairesse de Harrington, Gabrielle Parr, en compagnie de la députée d'Argenteuil, Agnès Grondin, ont annoncé l'implantation de 7 nouvelles tours cellulaires dans la région. Trois de ces tours seront érigées à Grenville-sur-la-Rouge.

La compagnie Videotron est mandatée pour mener à bien le projet et une phase de consultation de la population est en cours. La fin du projet est prévue pour décembre 2026.

Le maire Arnold a remercié le gouvernement et Mme Grondin et il s'est réjoui que ses revendications de longue date aient enfin porté fruits, mais surtout que les citoyens et citoyennes de Grenville-sur-la-Rouge se sentiront enfin en sécurité partout sur le territoire.

Yesterday, October 15, at the Town Hall, our mayor, Tom Arnold, the mayor of Brownsburgh-Chatham, Kévin Maurice, and the mayor of Harrington, Gabrielle Parr, along with the MNA for Argenteuil, Agnès Grondin, announced the construction of 7 new cell towers in the region. Three of these towers will be erected in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge.

Videotron has been commissioned to carry out the project, and a public consultation phase is currently underway. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2026.

Mayor Arnold thanked the government and Ms. Grondin and expressed his delight that his long-standing demands had finally been successful, but above all that the citizens of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge would finally feel safe throughout the territory.
